Raw 30th September 2024

Here we are after a long time with my new recap of Monday Night Raw! I went away for a week, and just like that, Seth Freaking Rollins is back in this episode of Raw!! Yesss!

We're just one episode away from Bad Blood, and things are heating up! WWE Monday Night Raw is back at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana, bringing us all the juicy details leading to the upcoming premium event "Bad Blood" this Saturday in Atlanta.

The show kicks off with the usual montage of superstars arriving at the arena.

Jey Uso, the Intercontinental Champion, makes his entrance with his son. What a phenomenal entrance!!! He’s finally a champion on his own!! He totally deserves that title!! I was so emotional when he won it! With the mic in hand, he thanks the fans and shares how special this title is for him—his first singles title! He promises to fight every week to keep it. Just as he starts sharing his story, he gets interrupted by Bron Breakker, who comes out to shake his hand and show some respect. I gotta say, I didn’t see that coming from Bron! The rumors about him turning face seem legit based on his behavior tonight!

Right after that, Rey Mysterio enters, and then we head to commercial.

Rey Mysterio vs. Xavier Woods

The match is a wild ride! Mysterio kicks things off with some jaw-dropping moves, but Woods turns the tables and, in a fluke moment, even rips Rey's mask off! With a crafty pin, Xavier Woods wins! Woods is acting kind of shady lately; I feel like he’s got some heel energy brewing! We’ll definitely see more of this in the coming episodes. I have a hunch we might see the end of New Day with Woods turning heel!

In the backstage scenes that I adore (you know it!)Sonya Deville threatens Lyra Valkyria, promising to show up during her match.

Lyra Valkyria vs. Zoey Stark

Lyra comes in hot, but an unexpected interference from Sonya Deville lets Stark take the win with her powerful finisher, Z360! After the match, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance rush in to help Lyra, sending the opponents packing! It’s a cute storyline, but honestly, it’s a bit lackluster! The women’s division would be pretty dull if it weren't for Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley! I miss The Man and Charlotte Flair so much!

Coming up: The "Hell in a Cell" structure lowers into the ring. Adam Pearce announces that the feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre is about to reach its boiling point.

Drew McIntyrestarts talking, wearing a black suit out of "respect"… but definitely not for Punk! CM responds with some strong words, promising to send Drew home in a coffin. This face-off is gonna be intense! I can’t wait to see their final match! Go The Best in the World!

Braun Strowman backstage, ready for his match. Meanwhile, The Miz teams up with R-Truth, who’s back in action, and they seem pumped to reclaim their spot. Another return—R-Truth is just too fun and entertaining!

Judgment Day enters the arena, ready to assert their dominance!

Sami Zayn is interviewed backstage and reveals that GUNTHER’s disrespect is really getting to him. Despite all the past doubts, Sami is determined to prove he’s more than worthy of a title shot. GUNTHER can run and dodge challenges, but Zayn is ready to throw down!

Judgment Day vs. Latino World Order

The first match of the night sees Judgment Day (Carlito, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh) facing off against LWO (Cruz del Toro, Dragon Lee, and Joaquin Wilde). The match is fast-paced, featuring some amazing moves and dives. In the end, Judgment Day takes the win with a powerful Devil Inside from JD McDonagh on Joaquin Wilde. Honestly, that match was a bit snoozy, though!

After the match, Finn Balor calls out Damian Priest, saying he doesn’t need him anymore and that Judgment Day can thrive without him. This is where the interesting part comes in! Liv Morgan promises to become the greatest champion of all time. But the surprise, which wasn’t that surprising, comes when Rhea Ripley enters, threatening Dominik and revealing an embarrassing secret about him before locking him in a cage!

During Raw, Rhea dropped a bombshell, revealing Dominik Mysterio's embarrassing secret that caught everyone off guard! With a sly grin, Rhea disclosed that Dominik suffers from claustrophobia. This isn’t just personal info; it’s a double-edged sword for his upcoming match at Bad Blood.

Just picture it: Dominik locked in a cage, battling not just his opponents but his deepest fears! Rhea didn’t just make a casual announcement; she promised that while Dominik is trapped and panicking, he’ll have the best seat in the house to watch his girl try to reclaim the title she never lost.

It’s going to be a moment of pure embarrassment for Dominik, but it could turn into a huge opportunity for Rhea. Who would bet against her? Don’t miss the next episode to see how this intriguing rivalry unfolds!

As always, the storyline with the Terror Twins and Judgment Day is awesome!

Chad Gable vs. Kofi Kingston

This matchup is packed with action as Gable and Kingston both bring their A-game. Despite Kingston’s best efforts, Gable prevails with an impressive Chaos Theory maneuver! After the match, Kofi is bummed, but Xavier Woods sincerely apologizes for the incident.

GUNTHER and Sami Zayn Face Off!

The champion GUNTHER steps in, expressing how annoying it is to deal with Sami Zayn every single week. But Sami doesn’t back down and challenges him, asking why he won’t accept a title match. GUNTHER, trying to save face, ends up hitting Sami, but eventually agrees to the challenge!

Main Event: Braun Strowman vs. Bronson Reed (Last Monster Standing Match)

The main event is a titan clash! Strowman and Reed go head-to-head in a match showcasing their raw power. With devastating blows and spectacular moments, it culminates in a superplex that collapses the ring! This is insane! Just when it looks like Reed might take the win, guess who shows up? Our beloved Seth Rollins returns and hits a Blackout! There were rumors about him coming back soon, but no solid dates—he’s here and he’s spectacular as ever! Strowman manages to beat the referee’s count and secures the victory! This match was out of this world, brutally intense, but truly a joy to watch! Worth every penny!

Conclusion

What an episode of Raw! It left a mark with heated rivalries, surprising returns, and jaw-dropping action! And all of this right before Bad Blood! I can’t even imagine what’s gonna go down this Saturday! Don’t miss the next episode, and get hyped for the big event "Bad Blood"! I’ll catch you all for the Smackdown recap on Saturday and Bad Blood on Sunday!

Xoxo,

Selena!
