Here we are for the latest episode of Raw, where WWE hits us with an explosive night! The tension in The Judgment Day hits new heights! We kick things off with Rhea Ripley entering the arena like the rockstar she is, and the crowd goes wild. Rhea, with a grin, admits she’s been thinking a lot about what went down at SummerSlam, and you can feel her frustration—this ain't the time for games.
Dominik Mysterio, the so-called “good guy,” has the guts to face Rhea. What a bold move! He launches into a cringy apology that feels straight outta a B-movie while the crowd boos him like it’s a rock concert. Rhea, with some savage sarcasm, gives him a backhanded compliment about his “successes,” but warns him that his latest decision might just be the worst one yet!
Then Liv Morgan, the new queen of drama, jumps in and claims that everything Rhea loved is now hers. But Rhea is livid and snaps back that Liv's taken too much, and it’ll take a miracle to stop her!
Meanwhile, Damian Priest, the player in this soap opera, joins the chaos, sparking a brawl that shows nobody's safe. The night wraps up with a mix of punches and plenty of drama—just how WWE likes it.
So, Rhea and Liv are two unstoppable forces, tough as nails and ready for anything, while Damian and Rhea seem like a power duo! Who's gonna come out on top in this wrestling theater? Stay tuned, because the saga continues!
Damian Priest vs. Carlito
The match kicks off, and Priest comes in hot with a big boot to Carlito. After a flurry of punches and kicks, Priest is dominating—this match is totally one-sided! Damian’s got that extra gear. After a series of strikes, the winner is Damian Priest!
But wait, hold up! JD McDonagh sneaks in from behind and attacks Priest. Then the rest of Judgment Day shows up: Balor, Dominik, and Liv, all laying a beatdown on Priest. Rhea Ripley rolls in, and Carlito bails, but Rhea clocks him. Balor finds himself caught between Priest and Rhea, and... bam! Priest goes for a super kick, but JD shoves him outta the way. Priest responds with a South of Heaven on JD.
Priest and Rhea share a hug, and then Dominik jumps off the top rope, but Priest catches him and tosses him right onto Rhea. She tries for the Rip Tide, but Liv yanks Dominik down to safety. Dirty Dom is always saved by a strong woman! Judgment Day heads backstage, leaving Priest and Rhea in the ring, soaking it all in. What a chaotic scene!
This storyline is seriously awesome, one of the best out there—right up there with the Bloodline!
The bell rings and we’re off for the second match of the night! Winey comes out swinging with punches at Jones, but Jones tosses him across the ring like a ragdoll. Jones hits some clotheslines in the corner, then delivers a powerslam followed by a cannonball. When Jones lifts him, Winey somehow stays on his feet. But Winey tries to bail with some kicks and runs to the ropes, only to get caught with a spinning sidewalk slam from Jones. Jones goes for the cover and... pinfall! The winner is Jones! What a fast-paced, one-sided match! I gotta say, Odyssey Jones, who made his debut last week on Raw, is gonna be one of the new superstars of WWE!
Then The Final Testament shows up, and Kross asks if it’s just another day for The New Day, pointing out that Kofi’s using Jones as a stand-in for Big E. Kross tells Woods that he sees the truth: Kofi’s using Jones to replace him too! The crowd starts chanting "New Day Rocks" while Woods tries to keep his cool, saying Kross’s attempts to stir the pot won’t work. Woods gets serious and asks which two of them will be fighting next week.
Kofi jumps in and says if they do that, the one not in the match will interfere. He proposes a six-man tag match. Kross responds that the devil’s work is never done and accepts the challenge.
In short, it’s a mix of punches, substitutions, and plots, with Kofi playing manager for Jones while everyone’s trying to figure out who’s replacing who. It’s basically a wrestling soap opera where everyone’s ready to see who gets the last word! Will the alliance and friendship between Kofi and Woods come to an end?? Is Kross onto something??
Cut to Adam Pearce backstage when Drew McIntyre makes his dramatic entrance. Pearce informs him that CM Punk is absent tonight due to travel issues, to which Drew, with the nonchalance of a king, replies that he doesn't care about Punk. Oh, but wait! He launches into a complaint about Randy Orton, who apparently has a VIP pass for the title, and Drew is not happy about it. He calls Orton a "snake in the grass" because, you know, snakes should never be seen in McIntyre's territory! In the end, our Scottish hero promises to "do Pearce's job" and behave himself because, you know, he's a "boy scout." But who needs scouts when you have Drew McIntyre in fight mode?I love these scenes on backstage!!
The World Champ Gunther is squaring off with Randy Orton. Orton struts down to the ring to his music, getting a huge "Randy" chant going. He reminisces about how he snagged the world title 20 years ago and vows to become a 15-time champ.
Then Gunther rolls in, and Orton tells everyone to snap a pic because soon he’s gonna take him down. Gunther, all flattered, calls him one of the all-time greats, but he throws shade about how Orton’s wasted his potential. Orton claps back, saying he’s made mistakes but always owned up and changed his game.
They’re nose to nose, and the crowd’s going wild with "USA" chants. Gunther predicts he’s gonna hand Orton the beating of a lifetime in Berlin and that he’ll never be a champion again. Basically, Gunther’s acting like the wrestling version of a know-it-all, right? Outta nowhere, Orton loses it and smacks Gunther with an RKO!
But wait, there’s more: CM Punk jumps the barricade and starts throwing hands at Drew McIntyre. Drew tries to whack him with his belt, but Punk’s quick on his feet, dodging and dishing out some hits. Drew ends up outside the ring like a rookie!
In a nutshell, Orton and Punk are always on top, while Gunther... well, he’s coming off more like a German in a comedy than a champ!
CM Punk's cruisin' backstage when he runs into Cathey Kelley. She tells him they were on the same flight from Boston and there were no delays. Punk admits they were sitting next to each other and he threw a little white lie out there, knowing Drew wouldn’t be around.
Punk says Drew's havin' a blast with a bracelet and can keep it, but it's the names on that bracelet that really matter. He even enjoyed watchin' Drew make a fool of himself in Glasgow. Even though Drew hates his guts, he still wants to stay connected through that bracelet. Punk's stoked to be in Austin, thinkin’ he found a way to make everyone happy. He glances at the title and then bounces.
M
atch: The Miz and R-Truth vs. Bronson Reed
The bell rings, and it’s go time! Miz tries to throw hands, but Reed pushes him back and crushes him with a cannonball. Miz spills outside, and Reed hits him with a shoulder tackle. Miz pulls off a tornado DDT, but Reed ain’t stayin' down. Miz goes for a cross body from the top, but Reed catches him and slams him with a death valley driver. Reed climbs back up and hits a Tsunami to take the win.
Another lopsided match, feels like SummerSlam all over again with the shoulder shots! Honestly, I’m not a fan of Bronson Reed; I was rootin' for The Miz, he deserves better!
Reed goes for another Tsunami, but R-Truth jumps in the ring. Reed lands on R-Truth, and after a moment of chaos with WWE officials, he hits another Tsunami. Adam Pearce tries to stop him, but Reed ain't lettin' up and goes for R-Truth again.
Sami Zayn's backstage when Jey Uso rolls up on him. Jey tells Zayn to just be himself and go get that title back. Zayn’s like, “It ain't that easy.” Jey’s convinced Zayn's gonna take down Breakker, and then they’ll snag the tag titles from The Judgment Day. Maybe they’ll even team up with Roman Reigns to take on the New Bloodline—fingers crossed!
So yeah, Punk’s lookin’ like the Dr. Phil of wrestling while Reed's goin' kamikaze on R-Truth like it’s a walk in the park!
Two-Out-Of-Three Falls Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Sami Zayn
We’ve hit the main event of the night! And I gotta say, go Sami Zayn! Even though it’s tough to admit, Bron Breakker is gonna be one of the future superstars of WWE, just like our beloved Triple H said! Breakker cuts a promo backstage, claiming he’s a badass and he’s gonna do what badasses do. His music hits, and he struts down to the ring.
Breakker starts off strong, throwing kicks and shoulder tackles. He sends Zayn to the ropes, but Zayn bounces back and hits a spectacular dive from the outside.
Breakker hits a powerslam and goes for the cover, but Zayn kicks out. Zayn tries for a Blue Thunder Bomb, but Breakker shakes it off. Zayn lands a Helluva Kick and scores the first fall.
Sami Zayn wins the first fall
Breakker, mad as hell, tosses Zayn into the timekeeper’s table. After a bit of chaos, Zayn’s perched on the corner, but Breakker comes in hot with a frankensteiner. He goes for the cover, but Zayn kicks out again. Breakker lifts Zayn and slams him down with a powerslam. After a few more hits, Breakker scores with a spear and ties it up.
Bron Breakker wins the second fall
Zayn goes for a crucifix, but Breakker shakes it off. Zayn attempts a dive from the commentary table, but Breakker counters with a sick clothesline. Back in the ring, Zayn tries to pull off a move, but Breakker catches him mid-air with a spear and takes the win.
The title stays with Bron Breakker, but here’s hoping Sami Zayn snags the tag belts with Jey Uso and we get a comeback with Roman Reigns.
Overall, this episode was lit! I’d call it a wild ride, more so than the others. Summer’s wrapping up and Bash in Berlin is on the horizon! Yeahhhh! I have a feeling we’re gonna see some epic stuff ahead! Catch ya next week on Raw for my Tuesday recap!
Xoxo,
Selena!
