Smackdown 29th November 2024

Yo, what’s up, everyone? How y’all doin’? We’re back for the final episode of SmackDown before Survivor WarGames Series! Are you ready???! I legit can’t wait for tonight (Italy time) to watch it!

P.S. The episode was taped last week at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.

We’re kicking things off with a bang—like, a major bang! The Women’s WarGames babyface squad hit the ring: Bianca Belair, Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, Bayley, and Naomi. Can you believe this lineup? Never thought I’d see them together, but man, do I love it!

The Babyface Team's Promo for WarGames

Our tag champs—Bianca, Bayley, Iyo, and Rhea (rocking a protective mask)—opened the show with a fire promo. Rhea, aka “Big Mama” (shoutout to Naomi for coining that gem), laid it down: they might not be besties, but they’re united in one thing—taking out their opponents. Naomi promised Nia Jax would get what’s coming, and Bianca? Oh, she went IN, calling out Jade Cargill for messing with them. Iyo Sky sealed the deal: their team’s here to destroy.

Naomi calling Rhea “Big Mama”? Iconic. And let’s be real—Rhea owns that title like a queen.

But then… cue the heels! Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, Raquel Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae strutted in, ready to stir the pot. Liv mocked the faces, saying they didn’t stand a chance. Nia questioned Bayley’s loyalty (she’s got a point though, right?). Tension hit the roof as Rhea challenged Liv, promising to wreck her so bad even Dom wouldn’t recognize her.

Chaos erupted. The brawl was WILD, refs and producers rushing in to break it up. Y’all, this WarGames match is gonna be insane. I’m all in for Team Bianca and Rhea—what about you guys?

Match #1: Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Andrade

First match of the night—Nakamura vs. Andrade. Shinsuke pulled out a sneaky win, using a dirty turnbuckle trick. After Andrade crashed hard, Nakamura hit the Kinshasa for the 1-2-3. Nakamura even debuted a remixed theme—pretty cool, but the match? Meh, kinda filler.

Post-match, things heated up when U.S. Champ LA Knight tried to ambush Nakamura. But guess what? Nakamura busted out that black mist, Asuka-style, leaving Knight writhing on the mat. Seen it before, nothing groundbreaking. Still, I’m backing LA Knight for that US title all the way!

Solo Sikoa: Silent but Deadly

Solo Sikoa kept it short and savage as always, assuring The Bloodline he’s got this—especially with Jacob Fatu in the mix. But GM Nick Aldis dropped a bombshell: no one’s allowed ringside for the WarGames Advantage Match. Solo, calm as ever, just nodded. Who needs backup when you’re a one-man wrecking crew?

Backstage, Tommaso Ciampa clapped back at Johnny Gargano, calling out his focus on Alex Shelley. “I don’t want our kids growing up thinking we’re losers,” Ciampa growled, giving Gargano one week to fix things—or else. When Ciampa says “my way or the highway,” you know it’s serious.

Kevin Owens: Grudge Match with Cody Rhodes

KO hit the ring, fueled by pure rage. He aired out all his grievances against Roman Reigns and The Bloodline, dating back to their brutal attack in January 2021. Then, he turned on Cody Rhodes for teaming up with Reigns at Bad Blood. Owens promised to settle the score at Saturday Night’s Main Event—WWE title on the line.

Honestly, with KO’s history, dude’s got every right to be mad. This match is gonna be a banger, and physical as hell.

Match #2: Cody Rhodes vs. Carmelo Hayes

Cody vs. Carmelo Hayes was high-energy from the jump. Cody dominated, sealing the win with a Cross Rhodes. Hayes put up a fight, but let’s face it—Cody’s on another level. Solid match, though!

CM Punk & Roman Reigns: A Dangerous Alliance?

Finally, the segment we’ve all been waiting for—CM Punk face-to-face with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. Reigns, looking all kinds of annoyed, wasted no time letting Punk know he wasn’t a fan. “I don’t like your tone, your attitude, or you,” Roman snapped.

Punk? Unbothered. “I’m not here for you, Roman. I’m here for Paul.” Shots fired. Punk hasn’t forgotten how Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline disrespected Heyman, and he’s out for revenge.

Heyman, ever the strategist, tried to play peacemaker. He reminded Reigns they need Punk if they want to survive WarGames. Divided, they’re done for. Together? They might stand a chance.

Punk proposed a deal: “One favor. One time.” Not for Roman, though—for Heyman. You could feel the tension spike as Punk walked out, leaving Reigns fuming. Heyman, cryptic as ever, promised answers after WarGames.

This segment was pure cinematic gold. Punk and Reigns teaming up? Explosive. But you just know Punk’s got a plan to shake things up post-WarGames. What’s Heyman really plotting? Buckle up, folks—this storyline is fire!

Main Event: WarGames Advantage Match—Jacob Fatu vs. Jey Uso

Closing out the show, Jacob Fatu took on Jey Uso in a brutal WarGames Advantage Match. Jey’s Uso Splash? Fatu shrugged it off. Then came the turning point—Fatu smashed Jey with a Samoan Drop through the announce table. Back in the ring, Fatu nailed an Implant DDT and a picture-perfect moonsault for the win.

With this victory, The Bloodline (aka Team Solo) gains the WarGames advantage. Post-match, Fatu and Solo shared a powerful moment, lifting their Bloodline fingers high while Jey watched from the ring. Chills, y’all.

And that’s a wrap for SmackDown! What a show! I’m hyped for Survivor Series tonight, especially the WarGames matches—they’re bound to be unpredictable. Will CM Punk betray Reigns? Maybe Seth Rollins will step in to help Roman, given their shared beef with Punk? We’ll find out soon enough!

Catch y’all tomorrow for my Survivor Series recap. This weekend is all about WWE, baby!

Xoxo,

Selena
